Adult Sunday School Series: Leviticus

—led by Joseph Lam

The Book of Leviticus is fairly remote in the imaginations of most Christians, for reasons that are understandable: its emphasis on law and ritual, the obscurity of the practices it mentions, and the sense that its contents—perhaps more than any other Old Testament book—have been rendered obsolete by the New. And yet, as the middle (central) book in the Pentateuch (the five books of Moses), the importance of Leviticus in the broader sweep of Scripture cannot be overstated. This course—led by Joseph Lam—aims to recover the importance of Leviticus for Christian thought and living today. Meets for five sessions April 21–May 26 (no meeting on May 19).
