Our Women's Ministry is simply and profoundly women encouraging women. We have many ways for women at CCC to connect with each other and help each other understand how to love as Jesus loves.
Women’s Bible Studies
We all long for something authentic—something worth opening our hearts to, filling our minds with, and giving our lives for. Jesus, himself, offers this authenticity to us! Join the Women of CCC as we study the Book of Hebrews using a Bible study guide written by Nancy Guthrie, "Hoping for Something Better, Refusing to Settle for Life as Usual." Together we wll seek to apply the wonderful truths in God's Word to the real-life issues we all face.
All women are welcome to join one of the 2 studies offered. Studies will run from mid September through April.

DELIGHT
DELIGHT is the CCC Women’s Ministry’s attempt to help women in the church make 1 Thessalonians 2:8 a reality. We’ve designed DELIGHT to foster “life-on-life” experiences for women, giving them opportunities to interact, begin developing friendships and to reach out to friends. Each month or so, one or two women host a different event, either in a home or at an alternate location. DELIGHT events are open to women of all ages and stages!

Pregnancy Support Services Partnership
As part of our deeds ministry for 2012-2013, the women of Christ Community Church will have the opportunity to serve Pregnancy Support Services of Chapel Hill and Durham by working in their clothes closet.
Pregnancy Support Services is a Christian ministry providing alternatives to abortion by supporting women facing the challenges of unplanned pregnancy, promoting sexual abstinence and offering post abortion recovery support. Their clothes closet allows for women who need help with the material needs of the children have free access to clothes, food and formula, and many other baby supplies.
PSS needs our help to keep the clothes closet stocked by organizing the donations. We are asking that women at Christ Community Church consider serving this organization once during the next year. For more information on how you can help contact Kathryn Eriksen at kathryn.eriksen@gmail.com.
Counseling and Mentoring
The CCC Women’s Ministry often bridges the gap for women in the church, connecting them to people and resources when needed. In the past, the Women’s Ministry and Counseling Ministry have teamed up to offer topic-specific studies like “Sex: Redeemed” to see what the Bible has to say for those women struggling with sexual sin and/or past sexual trauma. If you have ideas for ways the Women’s Ministry Team can help connect the riches of Christ to the realities of life for women in our church, let us know.
