‍The session of CCC hereby calls the congregation for our annual State of the Church meeting on Sunday, May 31, for the purposes of hearing a report on the state of the church, hearing an update from the Congregational Facilities Team, hearing a report on and taking a vote of support for the FY2027 budget, and electing ruling elders, deacons, and trustees. Standing for election: Tom Caffey (deacon).  Standing for reelection: Paul Hlad (deacon). Trustees: David Stepp, David Nash, and David Barrow.

The Women’s Ministry Team invites you to read with us this summer! In June, we’ll meet to discuss I Dared to Call Him Father: The Miraculous Story of a Muslim Woman’s Encounter with God by Bilquis Sheikh. In July, we’ll consider The Envy of Eve: Finding Contentment in a Covetous World by Melissa B. Kruger. Purchase and read the books at your own pace. Location and dates of discussions coming soon. Join us for a five-week series on faithfulness in the arts, where we will explore these questions as they pertain to literature, visual arts, music, and creative writing.
