WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP TIME THIS SATURDAY
Saturday, January 25, 6:30–8:30 p.m., at Kristi Passaro's home (1787 Dunmore Place, Chapel Hill)
Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Bring a book, poem, or song to share that helped you think about such things and would encourage others. Feel free to use your imagination. It could be a biography, a classic short story, a children’s book, or a math textbook.

The Session of CCC has called a congregational meeting for Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the Blue Hill Event Center from 9:30–10:25 a.m. for the purposes of discussing the congregation’s response to the Grace of Generosity campaign and possible next steps.
OFFICER NOMINATIONS OPEN
January 19 through February 9
In preparation for our annual election of officers, the Session requests that the congregation submit the names of men they wish to nominate for the office of ruling elder or deacon. You can find a simple overview of the process as well as the nomination form here.  February 9 is the last day we will receive nominations this year.
A.C.E. SERIES: HELPING NEW CHRISTIANS START THEIR NEW LIFE
Sundays, January 5–March 2
A new Christian is much like a new baby. They need their family, food, and lots of patient love. Are you prepared to help care for a new brother or sister in Christ? This class will give you practical training in this important skill.

JANUARY ALMS FOR PREGNANCY SUPPORT SERVICES (PSS)
Pregnancy Support Services is a Christian non-profit offering help and hope to anyone considering their choices in unplanned pregnancies and to youth navigating their choices in developing healthy relationships. Staff and volunteer client advocates offer free and confidential services including pregnancy testing, limited first trimester ultrasounds, education on carrying to term to parent and the adoption process, one-on-one mentoring, post-abortion support, and healthy relationship education in the center and local communities.

Baby Bottle Campaign  Baby bottles are available for pick up at the back of the sanctuary or porch drop-off in Briar Chapel by requesting it here. Fill it with change during the month of January, and turn in (or porch pick-up) on Sunday, January 26.

Alms Offering  All Sundays in JanuaryCome prepared to give a gift to help support Pregnancy Support Services. Give online here, or please make checks payable to CCC with “PSS alms” in the memo line. For more information on how you can offer prayer, volunteer your time or support financially, contact PSS at info@pregnancysupportservices.org or call 919-490-0203.
2024 GIVING STATEMENTS
CCC giving statements are available in our online portal. Your statement there includes all cash, check, and online gifts together in one place. After logging in, select the “My Giving” tab from the left side menu, and then “Giving Statement” near the top right to download your statement.
