2024 Generosity Campaign

In 2024, CCC launched a campaign called the Grace of Generosity to raise funds, build discernment, and grow spiritually as we pursued a new facility to be our congregational home. Studying "the Grace of Generosity" from the Bible, seeing "the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich," 2 Cor 8:9) helped solidify for our congregation in the biblical principles of wise, generous, and free giving, "not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Cor 9:7).

Big ideas

God enables and empowers our own generosity by His generosity towards us in Christ. 2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.
The campaign is an intentional time in the life of CCC to grow in generosity and stewardship and to seek God's direction for a permanent facility.
The campaign focuses on each of us individually and as a church family, growing in our understanding and application of Biblical stewardship and generosity through a teaching curriculum, community group conversations, and prayer.
The campaign will culminate in members making pledges towards a permanent building that will be used to be salt and light in Chapel Hill and beyond.
Through these activities, we are trusting that the Lord will guide us in whether or not we can begin building on CCC's land now or if he has another permanent facility for us.
